3 Reasons why not all students are passing their exams first time #3

This phrase could not be emphasized enough. Students tend to think that if they sit with an instructor for help, breeze through their study notes and practice hundreds of questions, the work is done. If this is your thinking, I have some news for you.

The ONLY way to get through your exams is with proper planning, self-discipline and HARD work, especially if you want good results. An instructor can share his knowledge, show you tips and tricks for the exam, help you with content you don’t understand and guide you through the process, but YOU need to pass the exam.

Take an actor like Leonardo Dicaprio, who is consistently producing Golden Globe movies and getting awards all the time, but is very seldom to be seen on social media. This is because he understands that you can either look successful or you can BE successful. Trying to be both won’t work. As soon as you start spending energy and time on something like social media, energy and time will be deducted from another area, whether that be family, friends, exercising frequently or your job. Energy and time WILL be lost somewhere else.

The same goes for studying and getting good results. You can either be a social media star or you can be shining with your exam results, not both. The choice is yours. Spend your energy wisely.

Getting good exam results takes work and consistency. Hard work does not mean you have to sit for 15 hours a day to study. Studying and hard work is about quality and not quantity. If you know how to unlock maximum brain power and capacity, have a proper sleeping routine and a healthy diet, you are already halfway there! Studying and hard work should not be measured by the amount of hours spent, but by the amount of content that you have gathered in a certain period of time.
At the end of the day, your friends, relatives, instructor and fellow students can help you with content you don’t understand, but it all comes down to you to make sure you have sat down and studied efficiently and thoroughly. This is the only thing that will ensure your results are exceptional.

I want to really motivate you to plan your studies properly, to take VIOLENT action all day long and to make sure that every morning you wake up, the only thing you want to do is to tick those boxes on the to-do list. The more you do it, the easier it is going to become, the key is consistency.

It takes 30 days to break a bad habit or to learn a good habit. Do not stop, come hell or high water.
